A dining table with three historical models. The first was created for the Swiss Pavilion at the International University City of Paris, the second for Le Corbusier’s Parisian apartment in rue de Nungesser et Coli in 1934 and the third for the Maison du Jeune Home in Brussels in 1935. Cassina has recreated the second version with a top in Carrara marble and base in light blue cast-iron. The overall effect is of simple elegance and great brightness.
The version already in production with a bright varnished walnut surface is also re-released with a new matt varnish finish which enhances the grain and warmth of the wood.
