PACKAGING
/RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING
We always ensure that goods are packed as compact and as light as possible so that we minimise
our carbon footprint here too.
Cardboard
Our cardboard packaging holds the FSC A000507 label. Every FSC label stands for sustainable
sourcing that puts forests and people first.
Pallets
For palletising, we use wood that we mainly recover from packaging supplied by our suppliers. Newly
purchased pallets or wood are always provided with certificates from countries/areas/regions where
replanting regulations apply.
Waterproof packaging
Root cloth is used for waterproof packaging. This is only applied for deliveries where it is necessary.
When providing our own transport, only light protective packaging is applied, which is reusable.
