”Sentieri” è un tappeto che ognuno può progettare per sé stesso. Grazie alla
possibilità di scegliere tra varianti di forma e di colore si ottiene un’infinita variabilità
di accostamenti: sei diverse forme di poligoni irregolari sono le basi da comporre
e unire tramite appositi bolli di velcro. La collezione Sentieri si ispira ai muri di
Cuzco e alla pavimentazione delle vie lastricate romane, entrambi costituiti da
pietre differenti per forma e dimensione, ma disposte in perfetto equilibrio tra loro.
Tanto che ancora oggi ne ammiriamo la robustezza, l’utilità e la bellezza. La strada
è anche un’antica metafora della nostra personalità che si forma e trasforma.
L’ampia gamma cromatica delle forme combinabili di “Sentieri” favorisce l’identità
del prodotto: monocromatico, tono su tono o patchwork.
Le basi sono realizzate con la tecnica della taftatura, che prevede un gesto manuale
che ricorda l’atto di dipingere sulla tela. Tappeti piccoli o grandi dal disegno irregolare
perché chiunque possa avere un oggetto che appaghi il senso della composizione e,
a seconda dei gusti, degli ambienti, delle esigenze, crearsi il proprio sentiero.
“Sentieri” is a rug that everyone can design for themselves. Thanks to the possibilty of
choosing from various shapes and colors there are infinite combinations possible: six
different irregular polygons are the bases to build from which connect together with
special velcro connectors. The Sentieri collection draws inspiration from the Cuzco walls
and the antique Roman cobblestone roads,both formed of stones differing in shape and
size but arranged in perfect balance with one another. So much so that we still appreciate
their beauty, robustness and sturdiness today. The road is also an ancient metaphor
for our personality which forms and transforms. The wide color range of combinable
shapes in “Sentieri” fosters the identity of the product: monochromatic, tone on tone,
or patchwork.
The bases are produced using the Tufting technique, which entails a manual gesture
reminiscent of the act of painting on a canvas. Large or small rugs of irregular
designs give everyone the possiblity to create thier own Sentieri and have an object
which satisfies the sense of composition, subject to one’s taste, space, and needs.
