A BRIEF HISTORY OF CANTORI
Sante Cantori
Le Marche sono una terra ricca d’iniziative, dove si è
sviluppata un’imprenditoria molto diversificata. Accanto alle
aziende, i laboratori artigiani continuano la tradizione dei
mestieri e delle arti applicate. Un esempio è la ricca tradizione
della fabbricazione di strumenti musicali lavorati a mano in
ottone.
E’ in questo fertile terreno che nel 1976, a Camerano,
piccolo centro a ridosso del Conero, nella regione Marche,
nasce l’azienda, dall’intuizione di Sante Cantori: egli utilizza
le capacità degli artigiani locali per la realizzazione di letti in
ottone, su ordinazione per i suoi primi clienti, coniugando
confort e bellezza.
Nel tempo Cantori allarga i propri orizzonti e si orienta
dapprima verso la realizzazione di un’intera collezione
dedicata alla stanza da letto. Poi, di anno in anno, la
produzione si è ampliata ed evoluta fino a comprendere i vari
ambienti della casa, accostando armonicamente materiali e
lavorazioni differenti.
Oggi l’azienda produce raffinate collezioni di mobili, accessori
e complementi.
Condotta da Sante Cantori assieme ai fratelli Fabio e Fiorella,
oggi affiancati dai figli, l’azienda, presente sui mercati
internazionali, mantiene una dinamica legata alle sue radici e
attenta agli aspetti umani e ambientali del territorio nel quale
opera.

One example is the lengthy tradition of hand crafting brass
musical instruments.
Sante Cantori started the company in this fertile ground
in 1976, in Camerano, a small town close to Conero. He
began by using the skills of the local craftsmen to create
brass beds on order for his first customers, combining
comfort and beauty.
As time passed, Cantori widened its horizons and worked
towards the creation of an entire collection dedicated to the
bedroom. Production extended and evolved year by year
and now includes all the rooms of a home, harmoniously
combining different materials and processes.
The company currently manufactures refined collections of
furniture and accessories.
The company is run by Sante Cantori with his siblings Fabio
e Fiorella, and they have now been joined by their children.
It is present on international markets, but maintains a
dynamic closely linked to its roots and firmly focused on
the human and environmental aspects of the area where it
operates.
