The CODE collection is the result of collaboration between the company and Nascent Design, a Milan-based brand agency that specializes in the development of strategic and multidimensional design projects.
CODE is the litmus test for growth of the Calligaris brand and its ever stronger positioning in the national and international design scene.
A natural progression of the brand’s evolution, the CODE collection results from the company’s need to further extend its offering to furnishing accessories, including the various different accessory categories. Although the brand continues with its simple design style suited to everyday needs, the CODE collection allows for little extravagancies through collaboration with young talents from the world of Italian design. The company has decided to make this collection the playing field to encourage the professional growth of young Italian designers, offering them a serious opportunity to make a name for themselves in the international market with products that are able to reflect the latest market and creative trends. The objectives of the CODE project are expressive, refreshing and surprising accessories. With a touch of colour and subtle humour.
POM POM - The result of botanical study of a number of exotic plants. The glass lighting units move in a harmonious and natural way on the iron structure, which is softened by a ‘soft-touch’ finish. The structure is available in the following colours: white, red and chrome-plated. The development of floor-standing, table-top and ceiling versions is based on a presumed evolution of these plants in various environmental situations. The base is in solid cement, allowing it to be of reduced size, and the light fittings are LED.
