Kadou Coffee tables
The collaboration between Bonaldo and the young Japanese designer, Ryosuke Fukusada, dates back to early 2013, when Bonaldo launched Kadou, a coat stand shaped like a traditional Japanese flower vase. Now the "branches" of Kadou have become the base for the new Kadou Coffee tables. The Kadou Coffee table top is made of painted metal, and it is available in white, anthracite grey and dove-grey. The legs, which are also in painted metal and arranged in an asymmetrical fashion with respect to the base and top, are available in nine colours: the classic white, anthracite grey, dove- grey, ivory and brown, and the brighter coral red, orange, green and powder pink.

Kadou Coat stand
Oriental culture and tradition, Made in Italy production know-how: it would be impossible to miss these two ingredients in Kadou, the coat stand designed by the young Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada for Bonaldo.
Kadou recalls the shapes of a traditional Japanese vase of flowers: its name in fact means "the art of flowers". The concept behind this product is to show the Western culture a typical traditional Japanese object, restyled with a modern approach using contemporary colours, materials and shapes. A large number of Japanese objects are often designed spontaneously and are therefore functional and natural in their shapes.
The base, which is made of batch-dyed polyethylene, is available in white, anthracite grey and dove-grey. The five branches are instead made of painted metal, in eight different shades: green, powder pink, coral red, brown, white, orange, anthracite and ivory. Kadou is also available in a version with an illuminated base, and it can be used as a lamp (Kadou Light).
