tetto e trattatista italiano.
Tra le sue opere archi-
tettoniche primeggia il
Palazzo degli Uffizi di
Firenze che gli fu commis-
sionato da Cosimo I nel
1560, dove tuttora sono
custoditi
capolavori
dell’arte mondiale. Fu il
primo a coniare il termine
“Rinascimento”.

architectural
works,
his most famous is that
of the Uffizi Palace of

commissioned by Cosimo
I in 1560, and today is
home to masterpieces

“Renaissance” in Italy.
