Based on a Surrealist matrix, the new
collection surprises and fascinates with its
avant-garde design. Like a cloud of light and
crystal, the Magritte chandelier unleashes a
dreamy imaginary. The gaze is guided by the
symmetrical relationships of the parts and the
novel radial modular design.
“Banish the already seen from the mind and seek
the unseen” is one of the famous mottos of the
painter Magritte, considered one of the fathers
of Surrealism, the artistic and literary movement
that began in the 1920s. The new collection
takes its inspiration from this revolutionary
spirit. The starting point for the process of
product development was conceptual research,
investigating the idea of the chandelier to the
point of its rethinking and deconstruction: a
forceful operation that has become a challenge
to most of the established tenets of classic
design.

Di matrice surrealista, la nuova collezione
sorprende
e
affascina
per
il
suo
avanguardistico design. Come una nuvola
di luce e cristallo, il lampadario Magritte
scatena un onirico immaginario. A guidare lo
sguardo sono le relazioni simmetriche tra le
parti ed un’inedita modularità radiale.
“Bandire dalla mente il già visto e ricercare
il non visto” è una delle più celebri frasi del
pittore Magritte, considerato uno dei padri
del surrealismo, corrente artistica e letteraria
d'avanguardia nata negli anni ‘20. La nuova
collezione è ispirata a lui e allo spirito
rivoluzionario di quel movimento. Punto di
partenza del processo di sviluppo del prodotto
è stato un lavoro concettuale che ha indagato
l’idea di lampadario fino a ripensarla e a
destrutturarla: una potente operazione che ha
messo in discussione la maggior parte dei
punti fermi legati ai classici design.
