Taif nasce nel 1980 per arredare la residenza del Re Saudita nell’omonima
città di Taif, da cui il lampadario prende il nome. Angelo Barovier, che studia
il progetto, ripensa l’immagine del lampadario della tradizione muranese,
preservando il valore del vetro soffiato e accogliendo nuovi linguaggi. Un
incontro di tradizione e creatività, fra memoria e innovazione in cui affiora
l’equilibrio compiuto del Classico.
This model was first made in 1980 to furnish the residence of the
King of Saudi Arabia in the city of Taif, which gives the lamp its name.
Angelo Barovier, who developed the project, revised the image of the
traditional Murano chandelier, preserving the allure of blown glass while
