Sail
Sail parasols are available in circular, rectangular,
or square form and in sizes from 2.5m square to 4m
circular. Sail is made with anodised aluminium poles
and the struts are accented with nickel-plated solid
brass fittings for an excellent finish. All our parasols
are supplied complete with a night storage cover.
Optional parasol storage covers are available and can be
purchased.
Freestanding and in-ground fixing bases are available for
these parasols (not included). A base should always be
used with all parasols. Bases are supplied as standard,
freestanding, floor fixing or in-ground. Our custom-
made parasol bases are made of steel which receives a
zinc electroplating to retard oxidation, then a final coat
of a durable grey powder coat paint finish.
All our shade products are stocked in Sunbrella®
‘Canvas’. Special orders in other Sunbrella fabrics are
available at a higher cost – please enquire.
Product care
At the end of the season, we suggest you clean your
cushions and parasols before storing them in a dry,
well-ventilated area. Although Sunbrella® fabric will
not mildew or mould, we recommend that the canopy is
cleaned regularly to prevent the accumulation of dirt on
the fabric.
To clean and maintain your cushions and parasols, we
recommend removing dirt, grease, oil, and mould. After
cleaning the use of ‘Barlow Tyrie Fabric Weather Guard’
(4FWG) protects the fabric from the aging effects of
weather.
