Papilio

The successful Papilio seating collection is expanded with the
Papilio stool with the choice of two height options.
Naoto Fukasawa, who favours the comfort of this product
over the shape of the design, says, “I wanted the seat to look
naturally comfortable, with the same shape relaxation
would have if it were depicted with an image”. The wings
- armrests - placed on the sides of the seat enhance the
comfortable feel. They support both sides and back of the stool.
Lo sgabello Papilio, disponibile in due altezze, completa e
amplia una serie di sedute di grande successo, caratterizzate
da una iconicità distintiva. Naoto Fukasawa, che all’interesse
per le forme antepone quello per i comportamenti delle
persone, afferma: “Volevo che la seduta apparisse confortevole
in modo naturale, che avesse la stessa forma che potrebbe
avere il relax se fosse rappresentato da un’immagine”.
Sono proprio “le ali” che si protendono ai lati della seduta che
enfatizzano la sensazione di comfort, fungendo da supporto
ai fianchi e alla schiena.
