un motivo carré realizzato con una tecnica molto raffina-
ta. La particolare lavorazione a quadri del rivestimento del
cuscino sedile è particolarmente elaborata: ogni quadrato
viene tagliato singolarmente e accoppiato agli altri in fase
di cucitura con una fettuccia tessile o con un profilo in pelle
a seconda che il rivestimento sia in tessuto o in pelle. Una
proposta di grande eleganza formale che va al di là del tem-
po e delle mode.
An icon of contemporary design, with an airy and light
image accentuated by the essential design of the inverted
"L" shaped feet, the Charles sofa is enriched with a carré
motiv created with a very refined technique. The particu-
lar checkered workmanship of the seat cushion cover is
particularly elaborate: each single square is cut individ-
ually and coupled to the others during the sewing phase
with a textile ribbon or with a leather profile depending on
whether the covering is in fabric or leather. A proposal of
great formal elegance that goes beyond time and fashion.
