From day one our design inspiration has
come from the shapes and textures that
surround us, harnessing their simplicity of
form to achieve the greatest impact from
the fewest parts. Simplicity for us means
focusing on the essential elements, it is
about paring back rather than adding on.
We go further to keep it simple, to design
lighting that blends seamlessly with the
architecture around it.

Guided by our design principles, our team
of engineers focus on the small details and
continuously look to advance our products
by pushing engineering boundaries. We
believe engineering a product requires an
understanding of the intrinsic nature of every
element and by using the latest prototyping
technologies, we ensure that every element
of an Astro product is developed to deliver
optimum performance.

We are committed to quality. Once a
product is engineered it is then put through
a programme of rigorous tests including
photometric, thermal, electrical safety,
photobiological and environmental. Tested by
external laboratories accredited to ISO 17025
including the Lighting Industry Association
and Intertek, our products conform to the
highest international standards.
