Astep was founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti to create and curate timeless inventions
projecting innovative ideas into the future. In the Tribute Collection, Astep reissues selected
lighting designs as the timeless masterpieces of Gino Sarfatti in the Gino Sarfatti Collection
and the works of established architects and designers who worked for Arteluce, the lighting
company he founded. Acknowledging the importance of continuously redefining, refining and
remembering timeless designs, Astep retains its edge by reintroducing new products with
advancing technologies in the Evolution Collection.
