Artifort designs touch you: they conjure up emotions. They make you smile, they prompt
questions... and amaze. Bold and expressive or discreet and pure Artifort is a true reflection
of your personality.
That’s why our strong designs capture your heart from generation to generation. At Artifort we
continue to look ahead and explore new possibilities. I would like to use this magazine to give you
a glimpse into the rich heritage of Artifort, our innovations, and of course, proudly present the
2018 novelties!
Creativity was paramount to the Artifort designers of the sixties and seventies. This creativity is
once again given free rein. This year, Artifort is giving talented, upcoming designers the opportunity
to link their ideas to our production experience. The results are truly inspiring.
The new designers enthusiastically took on the challenge to produce timeless designs in line with
the Artifort DNA. Monika Mulder, Tej Chauhan and Mike & Maaike are blending technology, art and
functionality into our collection. This resulted in an extremely refined mix of playful and functional
designs with an eye-catching appearance.
One of our most distinctive designs got updated: the Gemini Swivel Chair! The dynamic design
by UNStudio is now literally full of movement and functionality. Continuing the big success of the
Palladio family, Artifort collaborated once again with the Swedish architects Claesson Koivisto Rune.
We welcome Andrea into our collection: a dining and meeting chair that complements the
Palladio family perfectly. The design feature lies entirely in the leg and seat joint detail, which allows
the possibility to play with fabrics in combination with the leg frame. In addition to this, Khodi Feiz has
produced a stunning new design: the Figura sofa. With its extensive possibilities of personalization
and highly flexible elements that seamlessly combine with each other, Figura is offering endless
configurations. Figura is so much more than before, and yet so much less, too.
Elegant, paired down to the essential or distinctive design: you can see and of course,
experience our novelties for yourself at Salone del Mobile, Europe’s largest furniture fair held
in Milan. I hope to see you there.
