Il Bosco Veticale è l’edificio-prototipo di una nuova architettura della biodiversità, che
pone al centro il rapporto tra l’uomo e altre specie viventi. Il primo esempio di Bosco
Verticale, costruito nel 2014 nell’area di Porta Nuova a Milano, è composto da due
torri di 110 e 80 metri di altezza, che ospitano sulle facciate 800 alberi, 15.000 piante
perenni e/o tappezzanti e 5.000 arbusti.
The Vertical Forest is the prototype building of a new architecture of biodiversity, which
places the relationship between man and other living species at the center. The first
example of Vertical Forest, built in 2014 in the Porta Nuova area in Milan, consists of two
towers, 110 and 80 meters high, which house 800 trees,15,000 perennials and / or
ground cover plants and 5,000 shrubs on the facades.

La collezione racconta tre storie di progetti iconici di Stefano Boeri Architetti.
Ogni storia raccoglie sei istantanee che rappresentano i paesaggi, i protagonisti e i
colori di sei vicende ispirate alla sostenibilità ambientale e alla ricerca di un nuovo
equilibrio tra architettura e natura vivente.
Partendo dai bozzetti disegnati dalla mano di Stefano Boeri e dalle riproduzioni
in scala prodotte da Anastasia Kucherova (responsabile dei progetti speciali SBA),
Artep realizza questi tappeti con lo stesso concetto di sostenibilità utilizzando
materiali come la seta di bambù, ricavata da coltivazioni a basso impatto
ambientale e da lavorazioni sostenibili per l’ambiente e lana, fibra naturale usata
nella lavorazione dei tappeti da sempre.
La tecnica di annodatura è ad altissima densità di nodi, circa 160.000 per metro
quadro, un parametro tecnico che colloca questi manufatti ai massimi standard
qualitativi.
The collection tells three stories of Stefano Boeri Architetti’s iconic projects.
Each story collects six snapshots that represent the landscapes, the protagonists and
the colors of six events inspired by environmental sustainability and the search for a
new balance between architecture and living nature.
Starting from the sketches drawn by the hand of Stefano Boeri and the scale
reproductions produced by Anastasia Kucherova (SBA special project manager),
Artep creates these rugs with the same concept of sustainability using materials
such as bamboo silk, obtained from low-impact crops, environmental and
sustainable processing for the environment, and wool, a natural fiber used in carpet
manufacturing since ever.
The knotting technique has a very high density of knots, about 160,000 per square
meter, a technical parameter that places these products at the highest quality
standards.
Un Cerchio di acciaio, Rosso. Un anello che abbraccia, passando sotto il nuovo Ponte
progettato da Renzo Piano, un territorio di ferro, acqua, cemento e asfalto. Il Parco del
Polcevera e il Cerchio Rosso è pensato come un sistema di parchi dalle diverse ecologie
ed infrastrutture per una mobilità sostenibile, con l’obiettivo di capovolgere l’immagine
attuale della valle grazie ad un elemento simbolico che promette finalmente la ricucitura
e la connessione tra le diverse parti della vallata.
Il progetto scenico per la tragedia “Le Troiane” di Euripide nello scenario suggestivo
del Teatro Greco di Siracusa. Il Bosco Morto ideato da Stefano Boeri Architetti porta
l’idea di un pacifismo universale a un livello superiore, elevandosi al di sopra delle lotte
tra esseri umani per concentrarsi sulla relazione, oggi spesso conflittuale, tra la specie
umana e l’ambiente naturale. L’idea di progetto, infatti, nasce dalla necessità di creare,
attraverso gli strumenti della cultura e del progetto, un ponte tra due tragedie distanti
2000 anni –la guerra di Troia e la Tempesta Vaia- e tra due regioni distanti 1500
chilometri: il Friuli Venezia Giulia e la Sicilia.
A circle of steel, red. A ring that embraces, passing under the new bridge designed by
Renzo Piano, an area of iron, water, concrete and asphalt. The Polcevera Park and the
Red Circle is conceived as a system of parks with different ecologies and infrastructures
for sustainable mobility, with the aim of overturning the current image of the valley thanks
to a symbolic element that finally promises mending and connection between the different
parts of the valley.
The stage project for the tragedy of Euripides’ “Trojan Women” in the evocative setting of
the Greek Theater of Syracuse. The Dead Forest designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti takes
the idea of universal pacifism to a higher level, rising above the struggles between human
beings to focus on the relationship, often conflicting today, between the human species
and the natural environment. The project idea, in fact, arises from the need to create,
through the tools of culture and design, a bridge between two tragedies 2000 years apart.
