MELT
The Melt collection is revamped in terms of finishes and application features. The lagoon spirit is en-
riched with autumnal colours. Through the use of oxidised silver, the coloured glass acquires shades
of twilight, shapeless and iridescent objects come to life.
The MELT collection is a tribute to the industriousness of Murano and the lakeside nature that
surrounds the island. Inspired by the technique of glass casting that takes place in the furnaces of
Murano, through the irregularity of the fusion, MELT furniture takes on a soft aesthetic in its shapes
and organic in its surfaces. But MELT is also a metaphoric representation of the material that sur-
rounds Venice: water. The chromatic changes that, from hour to hour, from season to season, the
lagoon undergoes become a source of inspiration for careful chromatic research on the surfaces of
the furnishings that make up the collection.
Through the application of coloured veils and silvery reflections, achieved through the craft skills
present in Arte Veneziana, shapeless and iridescent objects come to life. The contemporary inter-
pretation of a technique and a gaze of curiosity towards an environment become the best way to
express the protective spirit that the MELT collection represents.

La collezione Melt si rinnova nelle finiture e nelle funzionalità applicative. Lo spirito lagunare si
arricchisce di cromatismi autunnali. Attraverso l’impiego di argento ossidato, il vetro colorato acquista
sfumature crepuscolari.
La collezione MELT è un omaggio all’operosità muranese e alla natura lacustre che circonda l’isola.
Ispirata alla tecnica della colatura del vetro che avviene nelle fornaci di Murano, attraverso l’irregolari-
tà della fusione, gli arredi MELT assumono un’estetica morbida nelle forme e organica nelle superfici.
Ma MELT è anche una rappresentazione metaforica della materia che circonda Venezia: l’acqua.
I mutamenti cromatici che, di ora in ora, di stagione in stagione, la laguna subisce diventano fonte
d’ispirazione per una attenta ricerca cromatica presente sulle superfici degli arredi che compongono
la collezione.
Grazie alla stesura di veli colorati e riflessi argentei, ottenuti attraverso le competenze artigianali pre-
senti in Arte Veneziana, oggetti informi e cangianti prendono vita. L’interpretazione contemporanea
di una tecnica e lo sguardo curioso verso un ambiente diventano il modo migliore per esprimere il
genius loci che la collezione MELT rappresenta.
