Everything began
in the faraway 1971,
when Giancarlo Zanin,
Alessandro and Nicola's
father, started to produce
and sell handmade
Venetian mirrors
made by a small team
of Venetian craftsmen.
Giancarlo run his little company
alone for over 12 years,
until the whole Zanin's family
decided that it was time to
extend the production to
furniture as well. Arte Veneziana
was officially born in 1983.
