p.3 QUALITY AND SOLIDITY
MASONRY ENHANCES THE LOOK, GIVES EDGES DEFINITION, MAKES ENDS
STRONG
Our masonry-look frames are hand decorated.
We lay the natural stone and stoneware tiles by hand.
We also apply the different textured quartz masonry paints by hand, as well
as glazes in an endless array of colours.
We use blockboard supports, we cut them to size, we design curves and
edging.
We fasten the masonry-look frames to the kitchen: they fit perfectly and are
impact resistant.
Everything is easy to install and dismantle and can be reused and touched
up.
p. 4 GET THE MASONRY LOOK
SOLID IMPACT AND SCRATCH-RESISTANT MATERIALS
BLOCKBOARD
Solid and reliable
Strips of pure wood are joined together to form reliable, stable supports.
ECOLOGICAL PANELS
Recyclable and sustainable
E1-rated particleboard is certified as an “ecological panel”, i.e. made from
100% post-consumer wood.
NATURAL STONE
Strong and resistant
Each is different, with each individual stone tile having its own
distinguishing trait. Varying shades, veins and strata patterns make them
unique, one-off pieces.
GLAZED STONEWARE
Uniform and virtually damage proof
A compact mixture of clays and silicas, valued for the evenness of its
surfaces.
MASONRY PAINT
Sharp and safe
This is an actual exterior covering producing a very thick coat that is UV
stable and water and heat resistant.
Made with quartz particles in different sizes for different textures and
enriched with a whole host of colours belonging to the NCS colour chart, it
gives the finished product an excellent look and feel. The raw material used
for the paint is certified to European standards in terms of performance and
safety.
p. 7 MADE BY HAND
WAVES OF COLOUR AND TROWEL MARKS MAKE FOR STRIKING SURFACES
The masonry kitchen workshop is located in the heart of our production
facility, a veritable company within a company.
6,000 square metres of wood, panels, paints, stone and tiles.
And multiple sets of hands, the hands of our master craftsmen who work
here, turning each frame, wall, splashback and top into a decorative piece.
Each masonry kitchen is unique.
Each individual piece of stone is unique.
Each individual stoneware tile is unique.
Each manual gesture is unique, as is the degree of pressure exerted by the
hand.

p. 116 TILING
NATURAL STONE AND STONEWARE TILES ARE LAID BY HAND
STAGE 1
Our master craftsmen attach the natural stone or stoneware tiles to the bare
panel using water-repellent adhesives.
The adhesives used are certified to European standards in terms of
performance and safety.
STAGE 2
24-36 hours after tiles have been laid, our craftsmen apply grout over the
whole surface to ensure all joints are sealed properly and uniformly.
Once the grout has been levelled, all residue is cleaned off. The resulting
tiled worktop or frame is then allowed to dry for another 24-36 hours.
Drying time depends on room temperature and so will generally be shorter
over the summer months and longer in winter.
Natural stone surfaces are then treated with a specific impregnating sealer.
The sealer we apply in-house has a long service life, but it is still advisable
to use the natural stone protector you will also find in our masonry kitchen
maintenance product range at regular intervals (every 4 years).
STAGE 4
36 hours after sealing, the natural stone surface is polished by hand with a
thorough brushing process.
p. 118 PAINTING
CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SKILL FOR A UNIQUE, SUPREMELY PERSONAL RESULT
EVERY TIME
STAGE 1
For improved adhesion of the quartz paint, our master craftsmen coat the
panel with an acrylic resin bonding primer certified to European standards
in terms of performance and safety.
STAGE 2
24-36 hours after priming, the Venezia Graf (coarse texture) or Sacile Graf
(fine texture) quartz paint is applied.
Paint is applied by hand, trowelling it on in circles.
Drying time depends on room temperature and so will generally be shorter
over the summer months and longer in winter.
Whatever the case, the paint takes at least 48 hours to dry.
STAGE 3
The finishing stage consists in using a roller to apply the satin sheen silk
enamel (over Venezia Graf paints) or a brush to apply the glaze (for Sacile
Graf paints).

A FEW SIMPLE TRICKS
CARING FOR NATURAL STONE OR STONEWARE SURFACES
We recommend always cleaning surfaces with a damp microfibre or other
non-abrasive soft cloth, using just lukewarm warm. Where necessary, you
can also use mild liquid cleaners diluted in water: in this case, you will need
to rinse the surfaces thoroughly.
Do not use cleaners containing abrasive substances or powders, chlorine,
solvents, acids or corrosive agents.
