a moiré treatment. Moiré is a
finishing technique that modifies
the surface structure of the
fabric by pressing it with metal
cylinders, whose purpose is to
change the reflection of light on
the fibers. The fabric takes on the
characteristic look that can be
compared to the veins of wood
or a watered appearance. This
irregular design is developed
on “campo unico”, which means
that the pattern is sized on the
whole width of the fabric.
