The island of Stromboli is entirely occupied by the volcano with the same
name, one of the few still active in the Mediterranean Sea. The frequent
eruptions offer an extraordinary spectacle, with streams of fire meeting
the deep blue of the ocean after leaving incandescent brushstrokes on
the rocky slopes: this exceptional natural phenomenon is recalled by the
design of the wallcovering, where tones of red and emerald green create

Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian islands, seven gems sprinkled in the
blue of the Mediterranean Sea and located not far from the shores of
Sicily. The name of the island echoes its beauty and the richness, coming
from the ancient Greek Lipàra, which means “fruitful”. For its prominent
position in the archipelago, the wallcovering featuring one of the most
iconic designs of the Armani style, the shagreen texture, has been named
after this island.
