Iolanta is a lyric opera by the Russian composer P. Tchaikovsky, where
the protagonist is a princess living in a beautiful secret garden. The
wallcovering takes inspiration from this dreamlike place, designed with
shiny silk in two colour combinations: vivid tones of emerald green or
delicate shades of pearl grey.

Salomè, step-daughter of the famous Herod mentioned in the Bible, is
the protagonist of the opera by Richard Strauss with the same name. In
this play she performs the famous “dance of the seven veils”, to which
this wallcovering pays a tribute reproducing on the plain background a
design created by three-dimensional embroideries in metallic yarns.
