“Nabucco” is the popular name of Nabucodonosor, one of the greatest
operas by the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, a milestone of classical
music first performed in Milan at La Scala theatre in 1842. To celebrate
the deep link of this opera with the history of the city, the wallcovering
reproducing Giorgio Armani’s favourite pattern - the streaked texture of
onyx slabs - was named after it. Nabucco is also the wallcovering that
Mr. Armani chose for the decoration of his boutiques around the world.

Tosca is a well known opera by the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini,
where the action takes place in the majestic city of Rome. The imposing
marbles of Roman Empire ruins echo the carved ones of the baroque
churches, giving the inspiration for the texture of this precious wallcovering.

PRECIOUS FIBERS 1
Macbeth is probably one of the most famous plays by William
Shakespeare. The compelling history of ambition and betrayal reaches
its peak with the well-known episode of the Birnam wood, which seems
to “walk” towards Macbeth’s castle decreeing the destiny of the king.
The trompe-l’oeil wallcovering recalls this event, depicting a forest of
deciduous trees with tapestry taste.
