create a vertical zig-zag texture on the fabric surface.

shading into clouds to create a sort of “infinite” effect. All colour variants -
from bolder to more neutral ones - are particularly rich in hues, depicting
the pattern with almost a watercolour appearance. Some details clearly
show a twill weaving in micro scale.

This fabric is inspired by an embroidered evening dress kept in the Armani/
Silos archive, where thousands of sequins give rhythm to the surface. To
imitate the defining three-dimensionality of the original dress, this fabric
plays with the different tensions created by the rigid wefts - matt cotton
and shiny acetate - combined with the typical elasticity of the silk warp.
