Volterra finds its source of inspiration in the ashlars and cobblestones of
the historic city of Volterra, in Central Italy. The geometry is due to vertical
ribbons that, thanks to the use of specific colour combinations, create the
optical illusion of infinite cubes with a perspective view. Further three-
dimensionality is added by a canneté motif obtained through a matelassé
technique. Volterra is available in typical Armani/Casa soft tones, as well
as variants featuring green and indigo yarns.
