The secret of a high visual comfort and the difficulty of a visual
access at the source of Black Foster’s lighting lies in the high
screening level achieved by the recessed position of the LED,
the miniaturization of its reflector and the “technical black”
finish of its screen.
Black Foster’s cut-off angle (absolute visual comfort) is at 37˚
and the glare-free angle (no direct vision of the LED) is at 65˚.
These values result in an index close to UGR 0 in almost any
disposition. Therefore, Black Foster easily meets the UGR<19
requirement (the strictest requirement against glaring in the
technical codes and international regulations).
