The Mangold sofa system - inspired by art, architecture and geometry - is designed to be combined in an infinite number of combinations. The different seats and backrests have different depths and heights, yet have very clear geometric forms. The main feature is the curved arcs of different radii, which when combined with other parts of the system create almost "mini-architecture" elements. The two additional storage units - which can be made in various materials and finishes, and therefore easily customized - adds order and variation to the system.
The architects Claesson Koivisto Rune :“We believe that the countless combination possibilities make Mangold fit into any furnishing situation where a comfortable sofa seating solution is needed”.
