The upper part of the appliance has been conceived to ensure a purely optical function, i.e. “capturing” light and orienting the light beam extremely accurately. Lights flows down from the source and slides on the smooth surfaces making up the upper part of the appliance. From there, it directly reaches the ground, opening up into a clean, welldefined beam, without however touching the base and the central part of the bollard. The resulting light effect is highly decorative and characterised by the dynamic combination of light-shadow contrasts, capable of highlighting the features of any architectural environment - be it the hall of a prestigious, luxury hotel or the Medieval square of an ancient town.
