King of animals, the lion embodies power and domination. In the zodiac, he is assimilated to a character who likes to order and
impose his ideas. The lion is, along with the snake, one of the most common symbols. The oldest statuette known to date is a
man lion found in Neanderthal, carved from a mammoth tusk some 30,000 years ago.
