Il fascino è misterioso perché frontalmente non rivela nulla della sua essenza, il
nome è evocativo perché invertendone le parti può essere interpretato come uno
strumento per comporre la propria sinfonia di relax (proprio come un pianoforte)
o letteralmente ne esprime i concetti cardine di consistenza, solidità, massività.
Una potenza, quella della materia con cui è realizzato, capace di raccontare
tutta la sua forza proprio grazie alla purezza e all’essenzialità delle linee, nitide e
assolute. Fortepiano non è solo una collezione di prodotti è un nuovo pensiero
di lavorare i piani in marmo da massello, modulari o a misura, nel quale vengono
scavati, senza soluzione di continuità, lavabi tondi, ovali, quadrati o rettangolari.
Una superficie continua quindi, sulla quale si aprono vuoti e depressioni che
accolgono l’acqua, quasi come fosse la sua forza a scavare la materia.
I piani possono essere utilizzati a mensola libera oppure integrati con i diversi
programmi di mobili della gamma antoniolupi. Nel primo caso, il progetto mette
in risalto lo spessore del piano e la sua immagine assoluta, nel secondo le infinite
sfumature del marmo dialogano con i colori e le texture dei frontali dei mobili
contenitori. Fortepiano può ospitare a richiesta un porta salviette che può essere
scavato direttamente nella parte finale del piano in marmo senza aggiungere
nessun elemento accessorio che ne possa minare l’immagine assoluta.
The charm is mysterious because from the front it reveals nothing of its essence,
the name is illustrative because by inverting its parts it can be interpreted as
an instrument for composing its own symphony of relaxation (just like a piano)
or literally expresses its pivotal concepts of consistency, solidity, massiveness.
A power, that of the material with which it is made, capable of telling all its
strength precisely thanks to the purity and essentiality of the lines, sharp and
absolute. Fortepiano is not only a collection of products, but also a new way of
thinking about working with marble countertops from solid, modular, or made-to-
measure marble, into which round, oval, square or rectangular sinks are carved
seamlessly. A continuous surface, then, on which voids and depressions open to
accommodate water, almost as if its force were excavating the material. The tops
can be used as free shelves or integrated with the different furniture collections
in the antoniolupi range. In the former case, the design highlights the thickness of
the top and its absolute image, in the latter, the infinite shades of marble dialogue
with the colors and textures of the fronts of the storage furniture. Fortepiano can
accommodate, upon request, a towel rail that can be carved directly into the end
of the marble top without adding any accessory element that would undermine
its absolute image.
