This modular component system has a modular frame made from extruded aluminium profiles. All the components in steel, glass or methacrylate are available in 4 heights (160, 255, 350, and 540 mm) and 3 widths (300, 450, and 560 mm). This variety means the system can be put together in an infinite variety of combinations. SEC can be used to make the tiniest bedside table or the largest wall storage unit that can be used as a room separator, or allow light to pass through if it includes coloured methacrylate panels, which from this year are also available in the new variants: clear smoky grey and clear smoky black. The catalogue shows various types of SEC compositions: trolleys, bookcases (open or with drawers), horizontal sideboards and towers. The Alias SEC CD-Rom contains software to help design compositions for any situation, for house or contract use, as well as other compositions for entrance-halls, receptions, retail outlets, offices and public buildings: shelves, storage units, trolleys, dividers, or food trolleys, TV and hi-fi stands, bathroom units and bookshelves.
SEC, the modular storage system elements which allows an infinite variety of combinations is now enriched with the new corner elements. The new extruded profiles, available in anodized natural mat or polished aluminum, along with the corner shelves and panels, allow to create useful corner configurations of different depths.
Thanks to its broad range of dimensions, the practical and versatile SEC can be used to create a variety of products, from the smallest bedside table to the largest wall storage unit.
