Alias has developed 7 different types of seat making an unconventional use of a material which is now very popular in interior design: the polyester mesh coated with PVC, on a structure made of extruded aluminium profile, stove enamelled, polished, or chromed, with die-cast aluminium elements. The upholstery is available in 11 colour versions or in leather, and each seat fits in perfectly in any environment, whether historical or contemporary, also mated to FRAMETABLE, a table made of aluminium alloy and die-cast aluminium elements. In its fixed and folding versions, this table comes in different sizes. The tops, made of double face glass, covered with laminate or veneered, are also available with holes for the passage of cables.
Galvanic treatment for outdoor use of frame collection is not available on black versions (A009). White mesh (R009) is available only for stove enamelled and chromed versions.

The products of the frame collection express a light but accurate symbol represented by a selection of comfortable chairs. Together with the stacking chairs highframe, bigframe and frame XL, we introduce also in our catalogue the rollingframe and meetingframe, as office chairs, the comfortable armframe, the feetframe and the chaise longue longframe are also available in the colors collection.
The 5 special colours, coral red, aubergine, cedar, sand, make the structure new combining it to the PVC covered polyester mesh in the same colours or white, and to a selection of Kvadrat fabrics always in the same color.
frame colors 2011
The products of the frame collection express a light but accurate symbol represented by a selection of comfortable chairs. In different sizes the stacking chairs highframe, bigframe and frame XL are available with stove enamelled extruded aluminium profile in 5 new colours; coral red, aubergine, cedar, sand, ice. PVC covered polyester mesh in the same colours or in white matches the aluminium structure and make it more relevant.
Rollingframe+ and meetingframe+ chairs now move in sync with the human body, thanks to a new gas piston and a special tilting mechanism. The tilting action makes it possible to move with ease and change position in a natural, controlled manner, offering a comfortable and healthy support to people’s posture during their working hours. This is yet another ergonomically designed element that comes to enrich the line-up of a collection which is a veritable icon of contemporary design. The tilting action enhances the degree of comfort provided by rollingframe+ and meetingframe+ chairs, since the angles of inclination of the seat and back can be adjusted simultaneously. The hardness of the spring that controls the tilting mechanism can be adjusted as a function of user weight. The rollingframe+ tilt height-adjustable chairs, with two size options for the back, and the self-adjusting meetingframe+ tilt chairs are available with covers made from polyester mesh, fabric or leather. Comfortable new pad made of soft leather padded with polyurethane foam, which is fixed on the edges of the seat and the back.
From now on, rollingframe+ low and meetingframe+ chairs with the oscillating TILT mechanism are seeing the addition of the SOFT version. The new family of chairs is aimed at an increasingly demanding target which seeks highly sophisticated aesthetics, as well as the contract market which increasingly calls for managerial seating solutions. Frame soft answers the needs of these situations whilst maintaining its unmistakeably clean lines. The new shaped cushion is made of soft leather or in Kvadrat® fabric and is divided into three parts: one on the seat and two on the backrest. Generous and outstandingly comfortable, the cushions are assembled straight onto the chairs which are entirely covered with leather. The soft variation is available in the low versions of rollingframe+ and meetingframe+ to underline the armchair inspiration of this product. It is a further ergonomic improvement which enriches the range available in this iconic collection of contemporary design.
