The products of the FRAME CHAIR collection display a light and rigorous touch, which results in comfortable
seats. In various sizes, the stackable Highframe 40, Bigframe 44 and Frame 52 chairs are available with or
without armrests. The Frame stools are perfectly consistent with the collection and are available in two
heights. The version with seat and backrest in PVC-coated polyester mesh is complemented by leather and
fabric versions for a more sophisticated style.
Frame represents a landmark in contemporary design and is still one of Alias's most successful product
lines today. Reducing the number of components, integrating functions and enhancing the performance of
materials are the key factors that collectively shape the seemingly simple image of this collection. Frame
embodies the Alberto Meda's approach, integrating product design and engineering in his work.
Le collezione FRAME CHAIR rivela un segno leggero e rigoroso, che si concretizza in sedute confortevoli. Di
diverse proporzioni, le sedie impilabili Highframe 40, Bigframe 44 e Frame 52 sono disponibili con o senza
braccioli. Perfettamente coerenti con la collezione sono gli sgabelli Frame stool, disponibili in due altezze.
Ad arricchire la variante con seduta e schienale in rete di poliestere spalmata con PVC e le versioni in pelle
e in tessuto, per uno stile ricercato. Frame rappresenta un punto di riferimento nel design contemporaneo
ed è ancora oggi una delle collezioni di maggior successo di Alias. La riduzione del numero dei componenti,
l’integrazione delle funzioni e la valorizzazione delle prestazioni dei materiali sono gli ingredienti essenziali che
concorrono a definirne l'immagine. Frame rappresenta l’approccio progettuale di Alberto Meda, il cui lavoro
trova una fusione tra design del prodotto e ingegneria.
