best expressed in the monochromatic version; the interplay between the
matt shell and the glossy structure enhances the shapes of the simple
and light silhouette.
The versions with ABS shell veneered with oak or walnut are elegant
and timeless. Thanks to its formal harmony and stylistic purity,
the Time collection is perfectly suited for use in both residential
and commercial settings.
With Time, Alfredo Häberli managed to combine innovation and a strong
human component. He found in Alias the ideal partner to express a con-
temporary language and succeeded in making the project evolve over
time. From the original die-cutting of the sheet, made from a sandwich
of wood and composites – a technology borrowed from snowboard pro-
duction – to the refinement of ABS material used in the 100% recycled
formula to create a versatile collection.

Disponibili in un’ampia gamma di finiture, le sedute della collezione
Time trovano nella monocromia la loro massima espressione; il gioco
tra l’opaco della scocca e il lucido della struttura esalta le forme
della silhouette, semplice e leggera.
Eleganti e senza tempo le versioni con scocca in abs impiallacciato
in tranciato di rovere o noce. Grazie alla sua armonia formale e purezza
stilistica, la collezione Time si adatta perfettamente ad un utilizzo

Con Time, Alfredo Häberli è riuscito a far coesistere evidenti contenuti
di innovazione ed una forte componente umana. Trovando in Alias
l’interlocutore ideale per dar voce a un linguaggio contemporaneo,
è riuscito a fare evolvere il progetto nel tempo. Dall’originale fustellatura
del foglio, realizzato con un sandwich di legno e compositi - tecnologia
presa in prestito dalla produzione delle tavole da snowboard - si è giunti
alla nobilitazione di un materiale come l’abs utilizzato nella formula 100%
riciclato per dar vita ad una collezione trasversale.

“From the first fleeting thoughts and sketches, the question for the Time project was, as the name
suggests, about time. From the thinnest and flattest material possible, folding from the surface
medium to the third dimension. Like a sheet of paper, cardboard or plywood. It is the soft folding and
organic contours that determine the shape. It was the empirical research of ergonomics in relation to
