The design of the PALUDIS collection is a development of the Spaghetti chair. It combines a minimal
lacquered or chromed metal structure with specific material selected for the woven seat and back: a special
“straw” made from recycled paper in a wide variety of colours. The Paludis chair embodies perfectly Belotti's
effort to create a functional design without frills, incorportating innovative and ecological material. Its dual
personality, straddling tradition and design, makes it the ideal chair to furnish any interior.
Nata dall’evoluzione del concept della Spaghetti chair, la collezione PALUDIS accosta la minimale struttura
in metallo, verniciata lucida o goffrata o cromata, al particolare materiale scelto per la tessitura di seduta e
schienale: una speciale “paglia” di carta riciclata intrecciata. La sedia Paludis incarna perfettamente l'impegno
di Belotti per un design funzionale e senza fronzoli, incorporando al contempo materiali innovativi ed ecologici.
