Inspired by the tradition of wire chairs, Patrick Norguet designed KOBI, an elegant and light seating collection.
The shell, the distinctive element of the entire collection, is a kind of basket, firm and enveloping, created by
interlacing welded steel rods. In the Kobi chair version, the cast aluminium support elegantly embraces the
seat, completely enveloping it and connecting it to the four legs in lacquered aluminium or oak veneer.
The practical sled-like structure is common to the Kobi sledge chair and the Kobi stool, available in two
heights. The cushions, which are available in different variants and materials, are shaped to adhere perfectly
to the shell and blend in visually with the structure, ensuring a suitable level of comfort.
Ispirandosi alla tradizione delle sedie in filo di ferro, Patrick Norguet progetta KOBI, una collezione di sedute
eleganti e leggere. La scocca, elemento distintivo dell'intera collezione, è un canestro, rigoroso e avvolgente,
risultato degli intrecci in tondino d’acciaio saldato. Nella versione Kobi chair il sostegno in fusione di alluminio
abbraccia elegantemente la seduta, avvolgendola completamente e connettendola alle gambe in alluminio
verniciato o rovere impiallacciato. La pratica struttura a slitta caratterizza invece la sedia Kobi sledge e gli
sgabelli Kobi stool, disponibili in due altezze. I cuscini, disponibili in diverse varianti e materiali, sono modellati
per aderire perfettamente alla scocca ed integrarsi visivamente con la struttura, senza dimenticare il comfort.
