The VIOLON lounge armchair collection, designed by Paolo Rizzatto for Alias, is a refined example of
contemporary design that combines art, technology and comfort. Inspired by the iconic photograph Le Violon
d'Ingres by Man Ray, in which the female body is turned into a musical instrument, Violon reinterprets this
suggestion by means of enveloping and harmonious forms. The collection includes two versions, both of
which feature a flexible seat that adapts to the body and provides great comfort. The former, Violon, features
a thermoformed shell combined with hide-leather and has two cushions; the latter, Violon Soft, is completely
upholstered and covered in fabric or leather. With its strong formal identity and attention to detail, Violon fits
naturally into domestic and professional contexts, becoming a discreet yet personality-laden focal point.
La collezione di poltrone lounge VIOLON, disegnata da Paolo Rizzatto per Alias, è un esempio raffinato
di design contemporaneo che unisce arte, tecnologia e comfort. Ispirata all'iconica fotografia Le Violon
d’Ingres di Man Ray, in cui il corpo femminile è trasformato in uno strumento musicale, Violon reinterpreta
questa suggestione attraverso forme avvolgenti e armoniose. La collezione prevede due versioni, entrambe
dotate di una seduta elastica che adattandosi al corpo conferisce un grande comfort. La prima, Violon,
presenta una scocca termoformata accoppiata con il cuoio e due cuscini; la seconda, Violon Soft, è
completamente imbottita e rivestita in tessuto o pelle. Con la sua forte identità formale e la cura dei dettagli,
