L'esempio sopra dimostra come lo spazio dome-
stico grazie al sistema di connessione rototraslante
possa diventare �uente così da trasformarsi secondo
le necessità di chi lo abita. Nello scenario 1, infatti, la
chiusura della Tesa (in legno tamburato), utilizzata in
questo progetto, isola all'occorrenza lo spazio cucina
dal grande living, così da contenere gli odori durante
la cottura dei cibi e da mascherare la cucina stessa se
non è in ordine. Nello scenario 2, invece, la sua aper-
tura consente di utilizzare tutto lo spazio living, ma
all'occorrenza di ridurne una parte per trasformarla in
un'accogliente stanza per gli ospiti.
The example above shows how domestic space,
thanks to the rototranslating connection system, can
become �uent so as to transform itself according to
the needs of those who live there. In scenario 1, in fact,
the closure of the Tesa (in honeycomb wood) isola-
tes the kitchen space from the large living room when
you need to block out cooking odors from entering the
area and hide the kitchen if it is untidy. In scenario 2,
instead, its opening allows you to use the entire living
space but, if necessary, reduce a part of it to tran-
sform it into a welcoming guest room.
