Glossary
PULEGOSO GLASS_ Glass characterized
by the presence of irregular air bubbles
(so-called pulighe) in the inside, which
deliberately blurs the glass transparency.
SHADED GLASS_ Transparent glass with a
tinge of colour that varies in intensity along
the surface.
CRYSTAL_ Glass with the addition of up to
35% of lead; strong and bright. Often used
for manufacturing valuable artworks.
VETRO PULEGOSO_ Vetro caratterizzato
da innumerevoli bolle d’aria irregolari
(pulighe) all’interno della parete vitrea, che
ne offuscano volutamente la trasparenza.
VETRO SFUMATO_ Vetro trasparente
di base con un tocco di colore che varia
intensità lungo la superficie.
CRISTALLO_ Vetro con aggiunta fino al 35%
di piombo; duro e brillante. È utilizzato per
oggetti artistici di particolare pregio.
