Tooby è pensato come un sistema essenziale
e versatile, capace di adattarsi a diverse funzioni mantenendo una
forte identità formale. A partire da un’unica struttura, dà vita a mol-
teplici configurazioni — coffee table, comodino o sgabello — rispon-
dendo con naturalezza alle esigenze dello spazio contemporaneo.
Il progetto si sviluppa attorno a un cilindro in
legno curvato, disponibile in diverse essenze, lavorato con preci-
sione tramite taglio a controllo numerico. Le aperture laterali non
sono solo un elemento estetico, ma diventano parte integrante del
progetto: alleggeriscono il volume, ne definiscono il ritmo e permet-
tono di sfruttare lo spazio interno in modo funzionale e accessibile.

Tooby is conceived as an essential and ver-
satile system, capable of adapting to different functions while main-
taining a strong formal identity. Starting from a single structure, it
generates multiple configurations — coffee table, bedside table, or
stool — naturally responding to the needs of contemporary spaces.
The design revolves around a bent wood cyl-
inder, available in different finishes, precisely crafted using CNC
cutting technology. The side openings are not merely aesthetic el-
ements but become an integral part of the project: they lighten the
volume, define its rhythm, and allow the internal space to be used
in a functional and accessible way.
