20 YEARS OF LIGHTNESS
Vent’anni fa Air introduceva un’idea radicale, un linguaggio rivoluzionario ca-
pace di restituire respiro allo spazio senza rinunciare alla funzione. Nel tempo,
questo sistema ha riscritto l’idea stessa di libreria, diventando un segno dis-
tintivo del design contemporaneo. Per celebrare questo anniversario, in occa-
sione del Salone del Mobile, LAGO presenta Air Roundy, proponendo la curva
come nuovo gesto compositivo. La leggerezza resta intatta, la forma evolve e
si fa fluida.
Twenty years ago, Air introduced a radical idea, a revolutionary language
capable of giving space room to breathe without sacrificing function. Over
time, this system has redefined the very concept of the bookshelf, becoming a
distinctive icon of contemporary design. To celebrate this anniversary during
Salone del Mobile, LAGO presents Air Roundy, introducing the curve as a new
compositional gesture. The lightness remains intact, while the form evolves and
becomes fluid.
