Renzo Serafini has had his hand in lighting since he was a little boy. His family owned a lighting and systems engineering company and his father’s work tools became his toys. Pipes, drills, cables, chandeliers, wires, the objects of his childhood have become the protagonists in Renzo Serafini's work. Those same hands that once played with tools today design, create and choose.
On construction sites with architects and builders, Renzo Serafini learned the language of Light and as a musician on stage he discovered it as a theatrical backdrop. Renzo Serafini, together with 031, his other big project, are the artisan crafts of lighting.
