Prandina is an Italian lighting design company that started its business in 1982. From the beginning Prandina’s creative philosophy has fulfilled criteria of simplicity, functionality and lasting quality. Oriented toward effective and recognizable lamps, Prandina believes in productive teamwork with established and emerging designers, both Italian and international, looking for new ideas in lighting, breaking with the current trends and conventions.

Prandina puts all its efforts into working diligently to keep the highest possible quality level in its production, making wide use of brass for parts upon design, as well as employing small hardware parts made of stainless steel and first grade electrical components, relying on skilled labour for the assembly, besides subjecting its products to careful controls. Glass diffusers are mainly produced according to the blowing and mould pressing traditional techniques, adding to these traditional methods more modern procedures, where they can provide a qualitative advantage.

Exports make up 80% of Prandina’s turnover. The firm is represented in the European, North and South American, Middle east and Asian markets, at the leading sales points. The Prandina® logo is a national and international registered trademark.
