THE ALPINA HOTEL - GSTAAD
Inge Moore and Nathan Hutchins from Muza Lab led the design team that worked at the 5-star-
superior Grand Hotel the Alpina Gstaad, set in spectacular scenery in the most glamorous location
in Switzerland. Design embraces the legend, but at the same time embraces modernity and a
generous array of idiosyncratic delights, offering an extraordinary connection with the Alpine world
outside and, inside, the individuality reminiscent of a very special private residence. For this exclusive
destinantion, Zonca Lighting has developed a lighting project able to enhance every single detail,
to uniquely embody the sophistication of the Swiss hospitality. A sophisticated play of lights that
permeates the atmosphere between original and contemporary local materials that delicately
combine with authentic antique wood.
