Sophisticated practicality
“Cose minimali è molto difficile che le faccia perché
io non ricerco il minimalismo, semmai la semplicità
che è una cosa molto differente.” Sono le parole di
Gae Aulenti che con questa sedia pieghevole che un
po’ mima l’iconica sedia da regista, porta il suo tocco
architettonico in un oggetto dal risultato semplice ma
tecnicamente sofisticato.
“It is very unlikely for me to do minimal things,
because I do not seek minimalism, but rather,
simplicity, which is a very different thing.” These are
the words of Gae Aulenti, who mimicked the iconic
director’s chair with this folding chair, infusing
an object with her architectonic touch, for a result
that is simple, yet technically sophisticated.
