Protection class IP69
Withstands any pressure
The majority of our spotlights is now IP69 certified and,
thus, protected against high pressure and high jet-water
temperatures. In this way, we further increase the require-
ments on our luminaires, guaranteeing both extreme robust-
ness and additional protection in particularly demanding
environments.
During IP69 testing, water with a pressure of 100 bar and a
temperature of 80 °C is projected against the enclosure of
the luminaire from all directions (standard: EN 60529). The
water is projected from a very small distance of only
10 centimetres, and the procedure lasts half a minute.
All IP69 certified luminaires from Wibre, to complement
the IP68 protection class, can withstand the most adverse
conditions, as they provide the highest level of resistance.
Their durability is second to none.

Protection class provided by enclosures (IP code)
The IP69 protection class only applies to the spotlight. The
connected cable is not IP69 resistant. If too high a jet water
jet comes too close or hits the cable, it may be damaged and
then no longer tight.
