Founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Breuninger in the German Bundesland of Mecklenburg, WIBRE initially produced white goods for everyday use. Electric kettles, immersion heaters, toasters, soldering irons and hair driers – our name was already at that time a synonym for technical perfection and innovative spirit. In 1953, the company moved from Mecklenburg- Vorpommern to Baden-Wuerttemberg. Relocation went hand in hand with the company’s entry into the market for lighting technology. The first fountain spotlight and diverse spotlights for shop window lighting left production facilities. One thing, however, did not change: WIBRE still manufactured products with passion for perfection.

At the end of the day, it is this quality that matters! WIBRE continuous growth reflects our strong comwithment to this principle. With 50 employees working at Leingarten headquarters and numerous national and international agencies, WIBRE able to offer a light product range that leaves no desire unfulfilled.
