For use in saltwater, special solutions
made of particularly resistant ma-
terial are required. For this reason,
a special high-alloy stainless steel
(1.4539 904L) was chosen for the
brine version of the 4.0291 retro fit
spotlight, which can withstand salt
concentrations of up to 3.5 percent
as well as organic and inorganic
acids. In addition, the spotlight
offers high resistance to pitting
corrosion and good skin
compatibility.
