180° glare-free light
This innovative accessory provides glare-free
illumination in front of and beside the luminaire
(180°) from a distance of just one metre. This not
only improves visual comfort, but also increases
the safety and usability of illuminated areas. A
minimal light loss of 4 % ensures that the light
output is almost completely retained. Particularly
suitable for installations in front of façades, walls
or other vertical surfaces where targeted and
comfortable lighting is required.
360° glare-free light
This special accessory ensures glare-free
illumination in all directions (360°) from a distance
of 1.50 metres from the luminaire. Uniform light
distribution without annoying reflections or glare
effects is guaranteed. With an extremely low light
loss of just 1 %, the light output is fully maintained.
This makes the glare louvre particularly suitable for
installations with all-round access where lighting
without glare effects is required - for example in
public squares, pavements or open landscaped
areas.
Maximum anti-slip properties
The use of an anti-slip disc is recommended
or mandatory in publicly accessible areas. The
optionally available anti-slip discs in the HIRO
series fulfil the highest slip resistance class
R13. This stands for a very high ‘static friction
coefficient’ and, according to the standard, is slip-
resistant up to an angle of inclination of over 35°.
This also allows them to be used in water-flowing
or very damp and muddy areas.
