LOWER MONORAIL FROM THE CEILING
MonoRail’s design flexibility extends to all its components, including the ceiling mounting hardware. Options for both rigid
and adjustable standoffs will put the rail right where you want it. Install the rail practically flush with the ceiling all the way
down to an eight-foot drop.
No matter which type of standoff you choose, the hardware will complement the entire installation. Each part is available in
two elegant finishes. Change the length of adjustable standoff without sacrificing the stylish and sophisticated look. Beauty
and versatility are integral to every MonoRail component.
ATTACHING HEADS AND/OR PENDANTS TO MONORAIL
RIGID STANDOFF
The field-cuttable rigid standoff is recommended
for curvy runs or runs with heavier Heads and
Pendants such as glass pendants. Rigid standoffs are
compatible with various power feed options: Use the
chart below to determine the appropriate standoff for
your run.

ADJUSTABLE STANDOFF
The adjustable standoff’s cable virtually disappears
for a clean and elegant look. It is best used on fairly
straight runs with a drop greater than 6". A wire grip
allows you to easily shorten or lengthen the cable to
size it for use.

TIPS:
• Use standoff supports at least every
three feet of MonoRail run and at
corners. Standoffs can be positioned
to cover points where rails are joined.
• For best appearance, place the last
standoff 4-6" from the end of the rail,
and place standoffs symmetrically.
